I wanted to share a little story with you. A story that's not just about a trip, but about inspiration, nature, and the beautiful simplicity of life.
Last fall, we embarked on a journey that would unknowingly add an amazing product line to our soap, candle & oils business. We took a drive along the majestic Blue Ridge Parkway. If you've ever had the chance to visit, you'll understand when I say that it's more than just a scenic route; it's a journey through the heart of nature's masterpiece.
As we meandered along those winding roads, flanked by an explosion of autumn colors—crimson, gold, and ember—it felt like we were traveling through a painting. The air was so crisp and clean, that each breath felt like a new beginning. We stopped at countless overlooks, but there was one in particular that captured our hearts. Surrounded by the towering balsam firs, a sense of peace washed over us. It was the kind of moment that made you wish you could stop time.
That night, around a cozy fire, we talked about everything we’d seen and felt. The kids were buzzing with excitement from the day's adventures, and it struck me—why not bring a piece of this experience into our products? Why not share this feeling of tranquility and untouched beauty with everyone.
And so, the idea for our Blue Ridge Parkway collection was born.
Our Blue Ridge Parkway Soy Candle is designed to transport you right back to those fragrant fir trees and the endless, serene mountain vistas. Crafted with care, each candle is a promise of 40-50 hours of peace, a way to fill your space with the essence of the Appalachians.
Then there's our Blue Ridge Parkway Bar Soap. I wanted this to be more than just a soap; I wanted it to be a reminder of that fresh mountain air and the vibrant greenery. With a blend of Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Shea Butter, Charcoal, and Kaolin clay, it's a piece of the mountain's purity and freshness in your hands.
