ARTISAN & OWNER - KATIE WILLIAMS

Peace Love & Soap began in 2008 with Katie Williams, a mother looking for something better for her family — products made with higher-quality ingredients, more care, and fewer of the cheap shortcuts often found in mass-produced body care.

What started as handmade soap for her son’s sensitive skin slowly grew into something much bigger. Katie began learning ingredients, testing formulas, blending scents, and bringing her soaps to local farmers markets while her boys, Cameron and Christian, were still little. One bar at a time, she built a brand rooted in care, creativity, and real connection with customers.

Today, Peace Love & Soap has grown into an established Greenville, South Carolina brand offering more than 125 regular products, with more than 200 items throughout the year including seasonal collections. Katie is still the maker and creative force behind the brand, shaping every collection through scent, texture, design, and thoughtful ingredients.

In 2023, Katie’s husband, Mike, joined more fully to support the growing business through operations, marketing, photography, website design, and ecommerce. Together, they continue to build Peace Love & Soap as a family-run brand focused on high-quality everyday products that feel personal, beautiful, and worth coming back to.
